Group. GEA Dico cappers are sold through a network of sister companies and agencies in more
than 40 countries throughout the world.
GEA Dico which was known initially as “Design and Installations Company Ltd.” and was founded
in 1949 to produce machines for the aircraft industry, the atomic energy authority and the
packaging industry.
In 1962, with the continuing growth of the packaging machinery industry, a separate company,
which would concentrate solely on machines for the packaging industry was set up. The new
company was named Dico Packaging Engineers Ltd and it specialised in capping and closing
machines.
The application of GEA Dico’s machines are wide ranging and apply to many segments across the food and industrial markets. Our experience and understanding of the important mix between
speed, volume, product and container type ensure the success of our systems. We also design and manufacture to suit specific customer applications.
