November 2009 - Strategy Change for GEA Colby and its subsidiary GEA Albro
As part of it's ongoing strategy reviews GEA Process Engineering has decided to more closely align the companies within it's Powder Handling and Packaging SBU; namely GEA Avapac, GEA Colby and GEA Albro.
The key aim will be to extract more synergies from the companies operations whilst also providing a wider offering to the market place. Joint manufacturing will be an area of focus however all parts of the combined operations will be optimised under future plans.
To effect these changes Gary Stannard will take over as Managing Director of both companies, effective 1st January 2010.
